Permanent magnetic round chuck RS
Design: Neodymium magnet system with radial and star pole pitch. The magnetic force is continuously adjustable. Centring grooves facilitate alignment of the workpieces. A through-hole can be put through the middle (Ø C).
Holding force: approx. 140 N/cm²
Magnetic field height: approx. 10 mm
Wear to pole plate: 3 mm at Ø 130 mm, 7 mm from Ø 150 mm
Application: Extremely strong round chuck, specially designed for rings and hard turning at high speeds.
Note: Drilling depths of the pole plate on new, non-regrinded or over-turned radial chucks: up to Ø 400 mm = 16 mm, from Ø 500–600 = 26 mm.
