General notes: Flawless steel structure as prerequisite for uniform hardness. Type and angle of the cut are determined by the particular application, whereby one differentiates between cut 1 - for rough machining, cut 2 - half smooth/universal and cut 3 - finishing. Ideal tooth geometry for each application. The length of the file is measured without the tang from the tip to the attachment.
Form C, half round and tapering point as well as hewn on 2 sides. Suitable for machining radii and chamfering as well as filing half round profiles. Can also be used for surface machining.
