With the „US 1100 TubeChiller ®“ we offer the fully automatic solution for automatic shrinking and subsequent cooling of tools. The TubeChiller ® technology was developed to combine our shrinking devices of the US 1100 series with automatic cooling by the
TubeChiller®. After the shrink process, cooling takes place automatically, without the risk for the operator to have contact with hot tools. The operator places the chuck in the shrink device, pulls the coil down and starts the shrink process.
After the shrink process, the cooling tube lifts up from the TubeChiller® housing. At the same time the coolant rises into the cooling tube and flows around the tool like a ring. During this movement, the induction coil is automatically moved back to its starting
position without the need for an additional drive or intervention of the operator. After the cooling process, the tool holder is dried with air and ready for use in the machine.
